Bhubaneswar: The Barmy Army, the fan group of England cricket, was trolled for wishing cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar on his 49th birthday with an image of his dismissal with the England players celebrating his wicket in a huddle.
The distasteful tweet did not sit well with the Indian fans, who criticised the Barmy Army. Here is how they responded:
Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra also gave a befitting reply to the post by sharing a collage of the highs of Tendulkar’s career achieved against England.
After making his Test debut in 1989, Tendulkar scored his first century against England at Old Trafford, Manchester in 1990; he made 119 not out.
