Mumbai: Petrol and diesel prices have shot up exponentially in the last few days. BJP has been facing a lot of criticism for this sudden surge in prices after the 19-day Karnataka poll hiatus. Common man has been the worst sufferer.
However, right now, the one suffering from it is Bollywood’s Khiladi, Akshay Kumar. In 2012, when the fuel prices rose under the Congress government, he tweeted his displeasure but deleted it recently. He wrote: “Guys, I think it’s time to clean up your bicycles and hit the road! As per sources, expecting another petrol price hi..”
He received flak for deleting his tweet.
Akshay, however, he hasn’t yet deleted other similar tweets.
Another Twitter user, Sanjeev Sharma, also slammed Amitabh Bachchan, Ashok Pandit, Vivek Agnihotri, Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher over their old tweets on fuel price hike. Someone else joined him, too.
