Two Aides Of Gangster Dhalasamanta Brothers Arrested In Odisha’s Cuttack

Cuttack: The Commissionerate Police on Wednesday arrested two associates of the dreaded gangster Dhalasamanta brothers.

They have been identified as Sasikanta Khandei alias Danny of Kaligali and Ranjit Singh alias Rania.

Two country-made pistols, 69 rounds of live bullets, a car, a bike and two mobile phones were seized from their possession.

According to police sources, the two accused were managing the business of the Dhalasamanta brothers, who are behind the bars.

Notably, one Riaz Bux of Banka Bazar in the city had lodged a complaint against the duo.

According to the complaint, the two gang members called him to Chunabhati Lane at around 8 pm on Tuesday and forced him to join the D-brothers gang.

Acting on the complaint, Chauliaganj Police began an investigation and arrested them.

It may be mentioned here that Sushant Dhalasamanta and his brother Sushil were arrested from a house at Pokhariput in Bhubaneswar on January 15, 2016.
