Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch on Friday busted an illegal arms racket and arrested two persons from Chandaka area.
During the raid, the STF seized two pistols, five revolvers, a single barrel gun and live bullets from their possession.
The arrested have been identified as Rakesh and Bikash.
Crime Branch ADG Soumendra Priyadarshi told the media that they would seek the remand of the duo after producing them before the court to unearth the network of the racket.
The drive against illegal weapons will be intensified in the coming days, he added.
