Two Arrested For ‘Harassing’ Odia Actress In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police have arrested the two youths, who had allegedly harassed an Odia actress while she was returning home after a shoot in a car with her colleagues late on Wednesday.

“The two accused in the incident involving some actors on 20-21 October intervening night under Nayapalli PS limit have been arrested, as per law, after a written complaint was received,” said a post on Commissionerate Police’s official Twitter handle on Thursday.

Bhubaneswar DCP Anup Sahoo also confirmed it.

The two motorcycle-borne youths allegedly stalked and harassed the actress near Nayapalli here. The incident came to the fore after a video captured by the actress went viral over social media.

The actress had later lodged a complaint at Nayapalli police station in this connection.
