Bhubaneswar: Police on Sunday arrested two persons for allegedly vandalising a contractor’s car at Dumuduma here the previous night.
According to available information, a group of 20-25 youths came in two cars late last night and attacked the house of a contractor and ransacked his car before fleeing the spot.
The car was badly damaged in the attack.
On being informed about the incident, Khandagiri police reached the spot and seized the two cars and a number of arms and weapons used by the miscreants, from the crime scene.
Later, the police managed to catch hold of two youths allegedly involved in the incident.
Though no written complaint has been filed in this regarding, police have started questioning the arrested persons and the victim in this connection.
However, locals suspect the incident to be the fallout of an old enmity.
