Cuttack: Commissionerate Police here on Thursday busted an inter-state motorcycle lifting gang with the arrest of two persons.
The accused identified as Bunty Roul and Chandan Kishore Beura were nabbed by police during patrolling at OMP Square here. As many as 17 motorcycles were recovered from their possession.
The duo was working for one Prakash Padihari and used to steal motorcycles from different places in the twin cities. Some persons who had purchased stolen bikes from them have been identified and efforts are on to trace them and recover the stolen vehicles, police sources said.
