Puri: In a late night scary, two bogies of Sainagar Shirdi-Puri Express got detached near Delang railway station in Puri district on Sunday night.
According to sources, the engineless bogies – S2 and S5 – ran on the track for a few metres before it was detected by the officials.
The train was then stopped for repair work and resumed its onward journey towards Puri after an hour.
Breakage of a coupling hook had led to the incident, sources said.
