Keonjhar: In an unfortunate incident, two boys drowned in a pond in Keonjhar district on Tuesday.
The children identified as Manoj (5) and Dinesh (4) of Malanda village under Telkoi police limits in the district reportedly slipped and fell into the pond while going to a nearby anganwadi centre.
Some locals looked for the children, but could not locate them.
After being informed, a team of fire brigade officials swung into action and again launched a search operation. The bodies were later fished out from the pond, a police officer said.
