Two Brothers Held For Attack On Garment Shop Owner In Odisha’s Balasore

Balasore: Bhogarai police on Monday arrested two persons for attacking a garment shop owner with a sharp weapon inside his shop on Sunday night.

The accused were identified as Rajendra Jena and his brother, Jitendra Jena.

The incident was recorded in a CCTV installed at the shop.

According to sources, the accused had a heated exchange with the driver of a cement-laden truck in front of the victim’s shop on Sunday night. Following this, the shop owner went to the spot and tried to pacify the two brothers.

Enraged, the two accused suddenly attacked him. The victim ran inside his shop to save his life, but the duo chased him and attacked him with a sharp weapon.

However, the duo was overpowered by locals, who informed police.

A police team rushed to the spot and arrested the two brothers.

IIC of Bhogarai police station, Sujata Khamari informed that the two accused will be forwarded to a court on Monday.
