Boudh: Fire Service personnel on Sunday retrieved the bodies of two brothers of Arakhapadar village under Harbhanga police limits in Boudh districts from the Mahanadi river.
According to reports, Ashish Pradhan (18) and his younger brother Tofan of the village had gone to the river for a bath in the morning. While taking bath, Ashish slipped into the deep waters. As he shouted for help, his younger brother jumped into the river to save him. But the duo was swept away by strong river current.
Following information, the Fire Service personnel rushed to the village and brought out the bodies of the two brothers from the river.
Police later took the bodies to the district headquarters hospital for postmortem.
