Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has finally decided to reopen the government and private schools and colleges for Class X and XII students on January 8.
As decided, there will be 100 days of offline classes for Class X and XII students. For Class X students, the offline classes will be held from January 8 to April 26 and for XII students, it will be held from January 8 to April 28.
The annual Matric Board Examinations (for Class X) will be held from May 3 to 15 while the annual Plus II examinations (Class XII) will be held from May 15 to June 11.
The Plus II practical examinations will be held from April 24 to May 14.
The government has also decided that the offline class will also be held on Saturday and Sunday.
All the schools across the state were closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and following lockdown.
