Berhampur: Two college students, Janardhan Behera and Mithun Das, residents of Sunapur village were arrested and forwarded to court on Wednesday on charges of raping a minor girl in Chikiti under Su
napur Marine police limits. This information was given by Berhampur SP Pinak Mishra.
The boys are students of Plus-III second year in a nearby college, the police said in a press meet.
According to reports, on January 10, the accused allegedly raped the minor in an abandoned house by tying her with a scarf and forcing her to consume a spiked drink. They let her go the next day. The victim was in a critical condition when she reached home. Her family members rushed her to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur for treatment.
