Sundargarh: The district reported 18 new COVID-19 positive cases including two corona warriors in the last 24 hours.
Of the total cases, six are in home quarantine with asymptomatic direct and high-risk contact of laboratory-confirmed cases while two belong to members of two CISF families after their return from West Bengal.
The two corona warriors from Niti Hostel and Hamirpur Sector-1 are in the institutional quarantine centres at DPS School, Rourkela.
Besides, one pregnant woman of Chhend Colony in Rourkela has tested positive for the virus.
As the remaining three patients are presently admitted in the COVID Hospital in Bhubaneswar, their information has not been shared, the district administration said in a tweet.
Out of total 778 COVID-19 cases reported from the district so far, 151 are active and 624 recovered cases while one person has died of the disease.
