Kendrapara: Two cows were killed and eight persons sustained critical injuries following a collision between a cattle-laden truck and a SUV at Salara Chhack under Sadar police limits in Kendrapara district on Monday.
As per information, the accident took place after the driver of the Bolero lost control due to over-speeding.
The injured were immediately rushed to the district headquarters hospital and are currently undergoing treatment.
Police have seized both the vehicles and started investigation into the matter.
