Sambalpur: Taking note of the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state, the Sambalpur district administration on Thursday announced a two-day shutdown.
The Sambalpur collector informed that the shutdown will be in force on July 11 and 12 in the entire district.
Barring essential services, all business and trading establishments, government and non-government offices will remain closed on these two days. There will be no movement of vehicular traffic, except transportation of essential goods.
Of the 108 COVID positive cases reported in the district till July 8, 58 are active cases while 50 patients have been cured of the disease.
