Cuttack: Panic prevailed in the Millennium city here after two persons were found murdered on Wednesday.
According to sources, locals found body of a youth lying in a pool of blood with deep wounds on his head and neck under the flyover near OMP Square and informed the Chauliaganj Police Station. Police later rushed to the spot and took the body for post-mortem.
In another incident, an old man was found with a deep wound on his neck at Ranihat in the morning. Locals rushed him to the SCB Medical College and Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Mangalabag police said that some miscreants had attacked him with sharp weapons.
On Tuesday, the Mangalabag police had recovered the body of a daily wage labourer with multiple injuries.
