Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 12 more COVID-19 deaths on Saturday, taking the total toll to 259.
The Health and Welfare Department informed that all the deceased were suffering from comorbid conditions.
According to the department, two deaths each were reported from Ganjam, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, and Bhubaneswar and one each in Sundargarh, Balasore, Bargarh and Gajapati.

With these 12 deaths, the virus has so far claimed 125 lives in Ganjam district, 33 in Khurda, 17 in Sundargarh, 16 in Gajapati, 11 in Cuttack, 10 in Rayagada, four each in Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Bhadrak and Puri, three each in Balasore, Kendrapada, two each in Sambalpur, Bargarh, Malkangiri, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kalahandi and Angul and one each in Jhasuguda, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, and Dhenkanal.
