Two From Odisha Receive National Florence Nightingale Award

New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Sebati Sahoo and Manjulata Maharana from Odisha received National Florence Nightingale Awards for 2022 and 2023 respectively from President Droupadi Murmu at a function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Thursday.

Sebati is currently posted at distructs headquarters hospital in Nabarangpur, while Manjulata is working as ANM at Sahaspur health sub-centre, Puri.

KNOW ABOUT THEM

The award was instituted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in the year 1973 as a mark of recognition for the meritorious services rendered by the nurses and nursing professionals to the society.
