Bhubaneswar: Two healthcare workers are reported to have been hospitalised after taking the COVID-19 vaccine in Odisha’s Bargarh and Jagatsinghpur districts.
In Bargarh, a 27-year-old staff nurse of Bargarh had taken the COVID-19 vaccine shot on January 16. The same day she developed fever and the administration was informed about the Adverse Event Following Immunization (AEFI).
She was admitted to VIKASH Hospital in Bargarh for observation and her condition is stated to be stable.
In Jagatsinghour, a 45-year-old ASHA worker was administered the corona vaccine on January 19. Sometime later she developed headache and lost consciousness following which she was admitted to District Headquarters Hospital, where her condition is stated to be stable.
