Sambalpur: Five days after the brutal attack on a doctor on duty at the Kuchinda sub divisional hospital in Odisha’s Sambalpur district, police nabbed the two accused from Rourkela on Thursday night.
As informed by the Kuchinda SDPO Nrupa Charan Dandasena on Friday, the two accused Rinku Soni alias Musa and his associate after assaulting the doctor, had fled the area.
However, police managed to track their mobile and nabbed from Rourkela.
On January 21, one of the accused entered the chamber of the doctor Subodh Nayak in the hospital and suddenly attacked him with a steel stool. The entire incident was captured by a CCTV camera in the hospital.
Basing on the CCTV footage, police identified the accused and finally arrested them.
