Cuttack: Police on Wednesday detained two persons in connection with the rape of a minor girl of Banahara village under Salepur police limits of Cuttack district.
According to the complaint lodged by the mother of the victim, her 13-year-old daughter was alone in her house when two youths of the village barged into the house in the afternoon on January 16 and raped her after tying her hands and legs and gagging her mouth. Later, they threatened her daughter of dire consequence if she revealed the matter.
As the two youths again raped her on January 17, the girl told her mother who lodged a complaint at the Salepur police station.
However, the police have not revealed the details regarding the case.
