Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has added two more hotels to the pay-and-use quarantine facilities available for foreign returnees, who are required to undergo mandatory 14- day self isolation, and others in the Odisha capital.
The latest addition to the list of 10, Park Resort at Cuttack Road and Hotel Paradise will be providing services predominantly on a charitable basis and charging a nominal Rs 300 for the food, which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and three bottles of water, a BMC press release said.

The civic body has also reiterated some of the guidelines for the persons intending to use these facilities:
1. The person intending to be self-quarantined should approach the listed hotels to avail this facility on a pay and use basis
2. The maximum number of days that a person can avail this quarantine facility is 14 days from the date of suspected incidence/travel/contact. In case of any doubt in the quarantined period, the course of action will be decided by the designated visiting doctor or medical officer
3. The hotels and the guests shall adhere to the quarantine protocol as issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department of Odisha and Union Health Ministry.
4. BMC or the government will designate doctors or medical officers who will visit if needed and keep regular contact with the person availing the quarantine facility
5. When asked, the hotel management shall provide details of such guests in the prescribed format
