Soro: Two persons were injured in a series of road accidents at Soro in Odisha’s Balasore district late on Friday.
According to sources, two persons were seriously injured when a car in which they were travelling overturned near Chhapolia on NH-16 at around 3 am.
Following information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the two injured to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
Meanwhile, a truck rammed into the police jeep which was badly damaged.
Prior to this accident, another Cuttack-bound truck hit a stationary truck near Soro police station at midnight. There was no casualty as the driver was not inside the truck when the collision took place.
Efforts are on to locate the truck and nab the driver, who managed to flee after hitting the truck, police said.
