Two injured in bomb attack at Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Two youths were injured after a group of unidentified assailants hurled bombs on them near Bhimakhoj bridge in Sambalpur district on Saturday night.

The victims were identified as Sushant Barik and Bihari Biswal.

According to reports, the incident took place around 9 pm while the duo was standing under a tree near Bhimakhoj bridge. Some locals rushed them to the district headquarters hospital in a critical.

The victims have lodged a complaint in this regard at Jujumara police station.

Police attributed the incident to possible past enmity.
