Jajpur: Two persons were critically injured following an explosion in a cracker-making unit at Muslim Sahi under Kimbhiriapal panchayat of Jajpur district on Tuesday.
Those injured were identified as Sheikh Mattual and Sheikh Salim. They were admitted to the district headquarters hospital.
The exact reason behind the mishap is yet to be ascertained. However, the explosion was so severe that the roof of the unit caved in under its impact.
On being information, police reached the spot and started investigation.
