Two Killed, 12 Injured By Lightning While Witnessing Football Match

Rourkela: Two persons were killed and 12 others sustained injuries due to lightning near Parba of Jharkhand along Odisha’s Sundargarh district on Monday.

The incident took place at around 5 pm when a group of persons from Hatibari and Purunipani of Sundargarh district had gone to witness a local football tournament near Parba.

Two persons identified as Dinesh Banju and Basudev Banju died on the spot while those injured were rushed to a hospital in Rourkela for treatment.
