Two Killed In Car-Bike Collision In Cuttack

Banki: Two youths were killed after being hit by a car near Similipur Chhack in Banki of Cuttack district late on Friday.

The identity of the duo is yet to be established.

According to available information, the youths travelling on a motorcycle sustained grievous injuries after being hit by a speeding car. They were rescued by locals, who rushed him to SCB Medical College and Hospital. But the victims succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital.

Police have launched an investigation into the matter.

Efforts are on to trace and nab the car driver who fled the spot soon after the accident, police sources informed.
