Jajpur/Khurda: Two persons were killed and eight others including a minor boy were injured during Rath Yatra in Odisha on Thursday.
In Jajpur, two persons were killed and seven others seriously injured when the iron chariot of the Lords came in contact with a live 11 KV wire near Tisco Mines Colony at Kaliapani in Jajpur district. The injured were rushed to the Tata Medical Hospital.
In another incident, an eight-year-old minor boy was seriously injured after he came under the wheel of the chariot at Banapur in Khurda district. He was rushed to AIIMS-Bhubaneswar.
