Two Killed In Head-On Collision Between Bikes

Parlakhemundi: Two youths were killed in a head-on collision between two
motorcycles near Patharagada village under Mohana police limits in
Gajapati district on Monday.

Though the exact cause behind the accident was yet to be known, some
locals said that the incident occurred due to over-speeding.

Following the mishap, an irate mob staged a blockade near the accident
spot by placing huge stones on the road. They demanded adequate
compensation for the family of those killed in the accident.

Police reached the spot and pacified the agitators with an assurance
that their demand will be looked into.
