Nabarangpur: Two persons died and as many were injured after the car in which they were travelling crashed into a roadside tree on Kurlu ghati in Odisha’s Nabarangpur district on Friday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Ritwik Bisoyi and Pradeep Takari, natives of Digisalapa and Udayapur respectively. The injured, Soumya Ranjan Nayak of Indravati village and Sripati Karkara of Aunligumma, were initially admitted to the district headquarters hospital and later shifted to Koraput, sources said.
The accident took place when they were en route to Nabarangpur from Khatiguda.
