Bhubaneswar: Two persons were killed when a pickup van slammed into a truck at Bhanapur Square on Pipili-Nimapara Road in Puri district on Saturday morning.
The deceased were identified as driver and helper of the van, Bibhuti Bhusan Nanda and Harihar Pradhan. They were on their way back from a marriage procession when the accident took place.
The driver and the helper were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them as brought dead, police said.
