Bargarh: Two Maoists, including a woman cadre, were gunned down during an exchange of fire with police near Salepali village under Paikmal police limits in Bargarh district around 9 pm on Tuesday.
The rebels, whose identity was yet to be ascertained, were reportedly members of Bargarh Division of Maoist.
One SLR and a .303 rifle, 105 rounds of ammunition and Rs 20,000 in cash were recovered from the spot.
According to reports, the district police raided the Maoist camp based on specific intelligence inputs. Combing and search operations are still on.
