Bhubaneswar: At least two Maoists were killed in an encounter with troops of the 198 Battalion CRPF and Andhra Pradesh police at Pedabayalu in Visakhapatnam district early on Saturday morning.
A CRPF personnel who was injured in the encounter has been shifted to hospital for treatment. Reportedly, two rifles were seized from the spot. With elections round the corner, security has been tightened in the red corridors to ensure smooth and incident-free polls.
