Two Members Of A Family Killed In Attack In Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Two members of a family died and two others seriously injured when a group of miscreants attacked them with sharp weapons in their house at the Central Line Colony in Burla, Sambalpur late on Tuesday night.

The deceased have been identified as Bulu Bisoi and Muna Bisoi.

While Bulu died on the spot, Muna succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR). The condition of the two other family members is stated to be critical, hospital sources said.

Acting on the complaint by the family members, the Burla Police on Wednesday detained four persons for interrogation.
