Nabarangpur: Two minor boys drowned in a morrum quarry at Chirma village under Kashaguda block in Nabarangpur district on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Nitesh Bisoyi (6) and Tushar Bisoyi (14). Another child, Shiva Bisoyi, was rescued and admitted to the district headquarters hospital.
According to available information, the incident took place when the cousins slipped and fell into the water stored in a murrum quarry while bathing in it.
They were immediately taken to the district headquarters hospital, where Nitesh and Tushar were declared brought dead by the doctors.
