Rayagada: Bodies of two minor boys were fished out of a pond at Matikana village in Rayagada district district on Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified as Sunil Himirika and Aresh Himirika. Sunil was studying in Class III and Aresh in Class II.
According to sources, the incident took place on Monday. On their way back home from school, they entered the pond to take bath and drowned. Locals spotted the bodied floating in the pond this morning.
On being informed, fire department officials recovered the bodies and sent them for postmortem.
