Bhubaneswar: The two missing visually-impaired girl students of Rama Devi Women’s University in Odisha capital have been traced in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
According to sources, the girls were rescued by Railway Police from Mathura station. A team of Commissionerate Police is leaving for UP to bring them back to Bhubaneswar.
It may be mentioned that two separate complaints were lodged at Saheed Nagar police station after the two Plus III students were found missing. While one of them was staying at the hostel of the varsity, the other was a day scholar from a village on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.
During the investigation, police had found a handwritten note from the house of the student, mentioning that she was going outside and a ‘memory-chip’ in which the other student had divulged her decision to leave the hostel.
