Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha touched 1944 on Sunday with two more patients succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the Health Department, one death each was reported from Bargarh and Sundargarh districts.
The deceased have been identified as:
1. A 75-year-old female of Bargarh district.
2. A 32-year-old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from obstructive airway disease with Hypothyroidsim.
The state also saw 3664 new infections with Khurda and Kalahandi leading the tally at 704 and 324, respectively.
