Cuttack: Two more people were injured by China-made plastic kite strings in Odisha’s Cuttack city on Tuesday.
According to sources, the two persons were going on a bike on the overbridge at Nua Bazaar in the city when they were entangled in the kite strings around their face and neck.
While one person’s nose got cut by the strings, the other person’s fingers and neck were injured. As they fell down and started bleeding, the locals rushed them to the SCB Medical College and Hospital.
One of the injured was identified as a resident of Bayalis Mouza in Cuttack district, and the other of Jagatsinghpur district.
It may be noted that a person was injured after a kite string got stuck around his neck in Trishulia area of Cuttack on Monday.
