Keonjhar: Two migrant workers quarantined at Dhanka GP TMC and Dhananjoypur GP TMC in the district have tested positive for COVID-19, informed Keonjhar Collector Ashish Thakre on Wednesday.
The infected were a part of a group of migrant workers, who had returned from Surat and quarantined. Following which many swab samples were sent for testing. Two among them were found to be positive on Tuesday, he said.
While one among them had mild symptoms like headache, the other was asymptomatic, the collector said.
Thakre identified them as two men aged 44 and 23.
“There is nothing panic since these cases have been detected in quarantine centres which are already declared as containment zones,” he added.
With this, the number of positive cases in Keonjhar has gone up to 4. The earlier two cases were detected on April 29 and May 3.
Tuesday saw 101 new cases taking the affected tally of Odisha to 538.
