Bhubaneswar: The Omicron tally in Odisha touched four on Thursday with two more foreign returnees testing positive for this variant of COVID-19.
The two infectees aged 11 and 15 had recently returned from “non at-risk” country Nigeria. They are currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Bhubaneswar, informed Institute of Life Science (ILS) Director Ajay Parida.
The state had earlier reported to Omicron cases. The patients aged 41 and 43 had recently returned from Nigeria and Qatar. They belong to Jagatsingpur and Khurda districts.
