Balasore: Excise sleuths on Sunday seized 60 grams of brown sugar from Jaleswar railway station in Balasore district and arrested two youths in this connection.
As per excise sources, the arrested duo hail from Haladipadia slum in Bhubaneswar. They were planning to transport the contraband to other parts of the district when excise officials laid a trap and nabbed them.
The market value of the seized brown sugar is estimated to be more than Rs 6 lakh.
