Chennai: Two persons were arrested by the Anti-Vice Squad of Greater Chennai Police from Bhubaneshwar for allegedly running a prostitution ring in star hotels and service apartments in the city through social media.
Those arrested have been identified as Jyoti Ranjan Jena (30) of Cuttack and Krishna Chandra Swain (27) of Puri district.
They were nabbed in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday after a special team traced them posing as clients on social media. They had lured many women from other states into prostitution, the police were quoted as saying by The Hindu.
