Kendrapara: The district administration has sealed two private nursing homes for allegedly violating COVID-19 guidelines.
Acting on a tip-off, a joint squad of Health department and district administration conducted a raid on four private hospitals, sources said.
The squad found violation of COVID-19 guidelines including mandatory use of masks and enforcement of social distancing by the staff as well as the patients in two nursing homes. Later, the two health centres were sealed by the team.
The officials also slapped Rs one lakh fine on the owners of the nursing homes as they found staff were not following the protocols for COVID-of the state government.
