Two Odisha Panchayat Officials Under Vigilance Scanner

Bhawanipatna/Bargarh: On the allegation of the disproportionate assets, the Vigilance officials on Monday conducted simultaneous raids on the offices and houses of two panchayat extension officers (PEOs) in Kalahandi and Bargarh districts.

In Kalahandi district, the anti-corruption officials raided the office of PEO Baleswar Naik at Thuapadar panchayat and his houses in Bhawanipatna town and his native village of Bhelagaon village.

In Bargarh district, Vigilance officials raided the office of PEO Pandav Nanda at Talapali panchayat under Gaisilat block and his house at Kalanga.
