Two OTV Staffers Held In Bhubaneswar Minor Girl Rape Case

Bhubaneswar: The Crime Branch of Odisha police have detained two employees of OTV news channel and two security guards for questioning in connection with the rape of a minor girl in the city.

Police sources on Monday said the four were detained after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint against them at Infocity police station here.

The detained OTV employees were identified as Anirudh Panda and Krushna Chandra Behera. However, the identity of the two security guards was not divulged immediately.

Sources said while Anirudh was picked up from Gop in Puri district, Krushna was held at Chandni Chowk in Cuttack. One of the security guards was detained from Kalinganagar in Jajpur and the other from Bhubaneswar.

The four detainees are currently being interrogated at the Crime Branch office in Cuttack. They will be produced in court later on Monday after the Crime Branch confirms their arrest,sources said.
