Puri: Two followers of a religious sect reportedly died in a congregation in Odisha’s Puri town on Saturday.
According to sources, the congregation of the followers of Nigamananda sect was organised in the Pilgrim Town. While the function, which was attended by thousands of followers was going, two of them developed health complications.
They were rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in the town. But the doctors in the hospital declared them brought dead.
Both of them were suspected to have died of heart attack, though no official confirmation has been made in this regard.
