Puri Crossed Half-Century In Virus
Puri: The district administration declared portions of Grand Road and Narendrakona in Puri town as a containment zone on Monday following the detection of a COVID-19 positive case in the area.
The containment zone will extend to Ward No. 21 and 22, stretching from Grand Road Market Chowk to Akshya Patra Lane and continue till Narendrakona lane, Narendrakona Chowk and Bramha Jaga Mahavir temple Chowk.
“All the inhabitants within the containment zone shall strictly remain at home. Besides, all shopping establishments shall remain closed while the supply of essential commodities and medical requirements will be ensured through various teams formed by the district administration,” Puri Collector Balwant Singh said.
