Two SCB Returnees Among 18 New COVID Cases In Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur

Jagatsinghpur: The number of active COVID-19 patients in Jagatsinghpur district rose to 109 on Monday with an overnight addition of 18 fresh positive cases.

Of the new cases, 11 were reported from Jagatsinghpur block, six are from Kujang and one from Erasama.

Of them, 17 were reported from temporary medical centres (TMC) while one positive case has been in isolation facility of SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Among the 18 positive cases, four each had travel history to Telangana and West Bengal, two each are returnees from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh and one each had returned to Odisha from Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab. One had a travel history to Ganjam district.

Two of them also had come back to the district after vising SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

Of the overall COVID-19 tally in Jagatsinghpur district, there are 301 recovered cases at present.
